something to cook in, a shallow dish works better for sandwiches but anything that is microwave safe will work, i.e a mug, glass jug, cereal bowl
Melt butter in the microwave in the dish you are using to cook inBreak egg into bowl you are using to mix the ingredientslightly mix egg with a fork till its all the same colourRemove butter from the microwave and swirl the butter around the dish to create a non stick coatingadd 1/3 cup, (approximately 35g) ground almonds to the eggSprinkle the 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder onto the Almond and eggMix together until combinedAdd melted butter to bowl with almonds and egg mixture and mix again until combined the mix is smooth smoothPour mixture back into the cooking bowl that is coated with a film of butterCook on high setting for 90 seconds, this is usually enough but it may need a few seconds more depending on the shape of your dish, there will not be any wet areas when its done.When its done it will look like thisTip it out to allow the steam to escape, if you leave it in the bowl it can go soggy.Cut in half to make a sandwichAdd your favorite filling and enjoy!
